Let's exercise our senses

Today's day at our facility was in the spirit of sensory therapy, together we practiced taste, touch, smell and hearing. We started with the sense of taste. With our eyes closed, we tasted and guessed different foods such as fruit, honey and biscuits.

The next sense in order was touch. We were trying to figure out by touch the things that were hidden in the wicker basket. We felt things and thought about what they might be used for.

Next, we focused on the sense of smell. The basket contained spice jars with familiar spices that you can find in every kitchen. Our task was to identify the spices by smell.

Lastly, we focused on hearing. When we repeated the rhythm on the bongo drums according to our activation worker.
