Museum of the Island of Folk Costumes

Looking back at history is probably fun for most people. So we went to a beautiful place near Zbraslavice in Kutnohorskie and together with our clients from ALZHEIMER HOME Filipov we visited the Museum of the Island of Folk Costumes, which has the largest private collection of historical rural clothing in the Czech Republic. We were transported to the place together by bus, and that's where the fun usually starts 😆. The exposition we saw is complemented by historical objects that were used just for processing textile raw materials. We could also see the accompanying collection of scarves, lace, hats and cute little dolls in costumes.

After an interesting tour, our clients were offered "honey cider" and coffee ☕🍰 and last but not least, we could buy their homemade cider, made from apples and pears, which is simply unbeatable. And if you like "beer"... they also have several types on offer. 😉 We ended the trip with a photo together in front of the museum.

One more trip together is behind us and we dare say, judging by the expressions and enthusiasm of our clients, it was definitely worth it! 🤩
