Pigeon release and canister therapy

Mrs. Slopovská and her daughter visited us in ALZHEIMER HOME Zlín. Both of them were holding wooden carriers with pigeons and next to them was a female Ody. Together with the children's group Brouček we welcomed them. The female immediately joined in the introductions and gradually greeted everyone who stroked her enthusiastically. In between, the tiny tapping of pigeons could be heard in the porter, which Mrs. Slopovská took out and the clients could hold them in their hands and feel their smooth feathers. At the end two of our clients released the pigeons. This meeting was a wonderful surprise.

We thank Mrs. Slopovská and her daughter for their visit and the children's group Brouček for the time spent together and we look forward to the next time.
